My current time scale is two weeks to two months from instruction to report.
I have over 15 years experience providing written and oral evidence for the courts. Areas of expertise include assessments of:
Cognitive/intellectual functioning (IQ)
Social and adaptive functioning (required when assessing mental impairment)
Capacity to parent
Executive functioning
Adult ADHD
Memory
Malingering
Personality disorders and clinical syndromes
Capacity and fitness to plead
Suggestibility
Risk
Suitability for psychological treatment
This is not an exhaustive list. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Although based in Teesside, the service is provided throughout England and Wales. I will undertake publicly funded work, with fees and charges advised by the British Psychological Society guidelines. The lower age limit is 16 years of age.
Consulting rooms can be arranged as required or the client can be seen at a location more convenient to them, such as their solicitor’s office.
Once costs have been agreed, the client will normally be seen within a 7 days and a report provided within 10 days of the last assessment session. Fees and charges for non publicly funded assessments are determined on a by case basis.
Payment is required within three months, unless previously agreed.
